Sanur Medical Clinic is a medical and dental clinic located in South Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. The clinic provides general medical care and dental services for local residents, expats, and international visitors. Its location may be practical for patients staying in Sanur, Denpasar, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Seminyak, or nearby beach areas who need routine dental treatment, urgent dental support, or general healthcare services during a Bali trip.
The clinic offers a broad range of services under one roof. Dental care includes scaling, fillings, root canal treatment, crowns, bridges, veneers, teeth whitening, extractions, dentures, orthodontics, children’s dentistry, splints, retainers, and TMJ therapy. General medical services include check-ups, vaccinations, emergency response, on-call doctor services, intravenous vitamin treatments, an emergency room, laboratory, pharmacy, X-ray, ECG, audiometry, and spirometry.
For international patients, the combination of dental services and wider healthcare support may be useful. Patients can access basic dental care in a clinic environment that also offers medical diagnostics, emergency support, pharmacy services, and general health checks. This can be especially helpful for travelers who want access to both dental and medical care while staying in Bali.
Restorative and cosmetic dental services include composite veneers, porcelain veneers, zirconia veneers, ceramic crowns, porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns, zirconia crowns, and temporary crowns or veneers. Crowns are restorations used to cover and protect weakened or damaged teeth. Veneers are thin restorations placed on the front surface of teeth for selected cosmetic improvements, such as changes in shape, shade, spacing, or visible surface concerns. Zirconia is a strong, tooth-colored ceramic commonly used for durable crowns and veneers.
Denture services include full dentures, acrylic dentures, metal-frame dentures, flexible partial dentures, porcelain-teeth dentures, and immediate or healing dentures. Dentures are removable appliances used to replace missing teeth. Patients considering dentures should confirm the type of denture, number of appointments, adjustment schedule, temporary options, and follow-up requirements before beginning treatment.
Root canal treatment is available for patients whose tooth nerve tissue has been affected by deep decay, infection, trauma, or other damage. Available related services include molar root canals, post/core build-up, and root canal treatment with a porcelain crown. A root canal cleans and seals the inside of a tooth to help preserve it when clinically appropriate. A post/core build-up may be used to support a tooth after root canal treatment when additional structure is needed.
General dentistry services include fillings, regular cleaning, deep cleaning, simple extractions, surgical or impacted extractions, and inlays or onlays. Deep cleaning may include scaling around the gumline and tooth roots when clinically appropriate. Inlays and onlays are restorations used when a tooth needs more support than a standard filling but does not require a full crown.
Children’s dental services include primary tooth extraction, fluoride application, sealants, pulpotomy or pulpectomy, and resin composite fillings for primary teeth. Fluoride and sealants may be used to support cavity prevention when appropriate. A pulpotomy or pulpectomy treats the inside of a baby tooth when the tooth has been affected by decay or infection.
Orthodontic and jaw-support services include clear braces, conventional braces, metal braces, retainers, splints, and TMJ therapy. Braces are used to gradually move teeth into improved alignment, while retainers help maintain tooth position after orthodontic treatment. Splints and TMJ therapy may be used for selected jaw-joint or bite-related concerns.
The dental team includes Drg. Surya Wicaksana, who has 11 years of practice experience, holds a Doctor of Dentist qualification, speaks English and Indonesian, and is associated with the Indonesian Dental Association.
The team also includes Drg. Hari Atmaja, who holds a Doctor of Dentist qualification, speaks English and Indonesian, and is associated with the Indonesian Dental Association.
Patients planning root canal treatment, crowns, veneers, dentures, orthodontics, children’s dentistry, extractions, TMJ therapy, or multi-step dental care should confirm which dentist will manage each stage of treatment before beginning care.
