Crowns and Veneers

The clinic offers porcelain or ceramic, zirconia, and porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns, also known as PFM crowns. Temporary restorations, inlays, and onlays are also available.

Endodontics

Endodontics includes root canals for anterior teeth, premolars, and molars, with post and core build-ups and crown sequencing when indicated.

Orthodontics

Orthodontic options include conventional metal and clear braces, with timelines depending on each case.

Dentures

Denture options include full dentures, immediate or healing dentures, partial dentures with acrylic, flexible, or metal frames, and flippers.

General and Cosmetic Dentistry

Services include exams, composite fillings, deep cleaning, extractions, laser whitening, and take-home whitening kits.

Patient Experience

Your visit typically begins with a consultation and indicated imaging, followed by side-by-side treatment options, timelines, and a written estimate. Sharing recent x-rays or CT scans in advance lets the team pre-reserve lab or surgical time. This can often compress sequences like root canal and crown treatment or multi-unit implant work into fewer, longer appointments.

Getting There

Fly to El Paso International Airport (ELP). It is usually about 20–25 minutes from ELP to the border, plus crossing time.

Rideshare and taxi options are available on both sides of the border. After booking, you will receive the GPS pin, recommended port of entry, easy approach roads, and the best drop-off or parking points.

How to Book

Your Dental Departures advisor can confirm chair availability, share a locked-in estimate, and sequence back-to-back appointments around your flights free of charge.

FAQs

What warranties or guarantees does the clinic provide?

Warranties here are usually procedure-specific and most often cover lab-made restorations, such as crowns, veneers, bridges, and dentures, and, when stated, implant components for a defined period. To keep coverage valid, you will be asked to follow written aftercare, attend recommended maintenance checks, and use protective devices, such as a night guard, if prescribed. Before treatment begins, Dental Departures will provide the clinic’s current written warranty for your exact plan, including what is covered, the duration, exclusions, and how repair or replacement is handled.

Where is the clinic and how do I get there?

The clinic is in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, just across the border from El Paso, Texas. From El Paso International Airport (ELP), plan about 20–25 minutes to the border plus crossing time. From there, a short rideshare or taxi brings you to the clinic. Once booked, Dental Departures will send the GPS pin, the recommended port of entry, straightforward approach streets, and nearby drop-off or parking options.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Clinics serving international patients commonly accept cash and major credit or debit cards; larger plans may allow bank transfer. Because accepted card brands, processor fees, and potential cash-discount policies can change, your Dental Departures advisor will confirm the exact options for your dates and whether a deposit is needed to reserve lab or surgical time.

What languages are spoken at the clinic?

Spanish is the local language, and English assistance can be arranged. Tell Dental Departures your preference when booking, and English-assisted appointments with bilingual consent and aftercare can be scheduled so everything is clear and comfortable.

How long does a root canal with a crown take?

A straightforward root canal is typically organized over 1–3 days, depending on the tooth and complexity. When a post, core, and permanent crown are included, allow about 3–5 days total to cover clinical steps and lab fabrication. Your printed plan maps each step to your travel window.

Can I finish an implant and crown in one trip?

Most single-tooth implant plans are two-stage. Visit one includes diagnostics and implant placement, plus any sinus lift or bone graft if needed. Healing then takes place during osseointegration, which is when the implant bonds with the jawbone. Visit two includes the abutment and final crown, with a few days allowed for lab work. Your coordinator will align visits to your flights and discuss temporary options during healing.

Do you offer same-day diagnostics and a written plan?

With notice, the clinic can arrange an exam and indicated x-rays the same day, with CT or 3D imaging through partner imaging when required. The clinic can also provide a same-day written estimate. Sending recent images and your medical and dental history in advance speeds planning and can reduce the number of visits.
