Faragó Dent is a family-run multidisciplinary dental clinic located in Mosonmagyaróvár, Hungary, a short drive from the Austrian border near Vienna. Treatments include dental implants, oral surgery, prosthetics and oral hygiene.
The clinic is led under the direction of Drs Lajos and Sylvia Faragó, both of whom have almost 40 years of dental experience having originally obtained their dental surgeon’s degrees in 1980. Since then they have undergone specialized training in the fields of dental and oral diseases, conservative dentistry and prosthodontics.
Experienced in treating patients from across Europe, they can speak Hungarian, English, German and are active members of the Hungarian Medical Chamber and the Vienna Dental Association.
With dental expertise running in the family, Faragó Dent is now run by their son and Chief Physician Dr. Erik Faragó, who specializes in implantology and dental surgery, with clinical experience in both Hungary and Germany.
Thanks to the team’s wealth of expertise in the field of dental implantology, the most popular treatment offered at Faragó Dent is dental implant-based restorations. Patients can look forward to high-quality single or multiple-tooth replacements whereby titanium implants are embedded into the jawbone to support a ceramic, zirconia or porcelain crown.
For those with a mouthful of missing or failing teeth seeking a more secure, comfortable alternative to traditional dentures, Faragó Dent also offers permanent fixed bridge restorations supported by four dental implants embedded in the jawbone.
For patients who have suffered bone loss due to previous inflammations or trauma who normally would not be suitable candidates for implantation, the clinic offers an alternative option of embedding implants with a pain-free autologous bone transplant within the oral cavity.
This technique was developed 30 years ago by Dr. Erik Faragó; together with Prof. Dr. F. Khoury, they have provided further training for other dentists from all over the world at his private clinic in Germany.
