Considering the previous lack of dental services in the country around the turn of the Millenium, Vrioni Dental’s founders opened this clinic with the aim of creating a centre where both local and international patients could benefit from a full range of safe, affordable dental services, with all necessary procedures across different specialties carried out under the same roof.
Today, this polyclinic has a total of five treatment rooms and works with an experienced team of dentists, hygienists and assistants. Since 2007, it has been the only dental clinic in Albania to offer dental services with sedation (“laughing gas”), allowing patients to feel much more at ease while in the chair. Medical hypnosis is another option here, aimed at helping particularly nervous patients.
The clinic boasts an onsite laboratory for the production of custom-made dental prosthetics, helping patients regain their smiles with the application of dentures, implant-retained bridges, crowns and veneers. It is the only lab in Albania to be certified according to international standards and holds ISO certification for dentistry.
Furthermore, the materials used by dentists are among the highest quality in the world and are sourced from trusted manufacturers in France, Italy, Germany and America.
Upon arrival, patients can look forward to a warm, friendly reception with English-speaking staff. In addition, there are no charges for initial appointments, which can include a detailed check-up, definition of problems, treatment plan and other evaluations.
Dental Team:
The clinic is led by Dr. Rasim Vrioni, a multilingual dental surgeon who has been in practice since 2003. After graduating with his DMD from the University of Ankara (Turkey), he has undertaken a Master’s Degree in Dental Implantology and Prosthetics and gained a diploma in Dental Radiology.
He works alongside Dr. Manjola Vrioni, a fellow member of the Albanian Dental Association who specializes in orthodontics.

septembre 2022I had come to the Vrioni clinic to do both arches with implants. After the CT scan and the doctor's visit, we changed the work plan. Doctor Vrioni saved what could be saved by treating, devitalizing and strengthening where it was needed. I state that by doing so I paid a little less than the first quote but they had to work three more times. So Doctor Vrioni very professional and honest. The doctor who did the devitalizations was very good and professional. I was terribly afraid of the Dantist. Doctor Vrioni was able to put me at ease ... I dealt with everything in a calm way. In a few months I will return to finish the work. I will be back with my wife and children. So will the necessary checks and care for them. Edmond a great man. Attentive and friendly. He supported me and met every need. I highly recommend the Vrioni clinic. Friendliness, professionalism, study and cutting-edge materials. When the work is finished I will return with a more in-depth review.

Not only as regards the prices, definitely lower than those proposed to me in Italy, but above all for the certainty of being constantly followed by Dr. Rasim who, coordinating his excellent work group, managed without causing me any pain, quickly and with extreme precision to send me home with perfect teeth both from an aesthetic and functional point of view. Certainly noteworthy is all the welcome and logistical accommodation work carried out by Mr. Edmond and Mr. Darvin who do their utmost to assist the patient from an organizational point of view. Also to be discovered is the city of Tirana, which has proved to be welcoming, safe and with the inhabitants who do their utmost to put tourists at ease, inducing them to return to Albania regardless of dental treatment.
