Since 1997 Bonifacio Dental Center has offered affordable, high-quality dental care to both local and international patients, with almost two-thirds of our patients coming from overseas. Sedación Intravenosa (por anestesiólogo)Additional Noteswe use local injections and IV SEDATION. The IV Sedation is the counterpart of the nitrous oxide where in the patient's level of awareness of the procedure is reduced, thus, decreasing the fear and discomfort of the patient with the dental treatment. The patient is a little bit groggy but not totally asleep so that we can talk to him . The patient will remember nothing after the procedure . Requirements for an IV Sedation are medical clearance , fasting 8hrs. before procedure , the patient should be in a healthy respiratory state ( no cough and colds) .
