Upon his graduation, he received the Dean’s Award for being the best sixth-year student with a GPA of 5.0. He also received the Rector’s Award for the best scientific work, with this paper published the following year in the acclaimed American Journal of Dental Education.

Notably, after completing his specialization in oral surgery, Dr. Josip Škaričić became one of the youngest oral surgeons in Croatia, going on to successfully defend his doctoral dissertation in the field of dental prosthetics at the University of Zagreb.

During and after his specialization, he continuously participated in professional meetings, congresses, and courses in Germany, France, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Egypt and more.
